Does anyone know whether LR 2 saves creates tiff files with Mac Byte order or Windows byte order. My stock agency apparently uses an application somewhere in their workflow that requires PC byte order.

It may depend on wether your running LR on a Mac or PC but a wild guess I would say it is PC format. The last time I had to worry about Endianess on TIFF's was about 15 years ago !

I used EXIFtool to look at a TIF fil created with LR. It says the file is "Little Endian" Or Intel Byte Order. I believe that most Non Motorola chips are Little Endian and I'll bet this includes binary files from modern Intel Macs too. Motorola Chips were set to read "Big Endian".
