Have you ever been able to see the pictures in slideshow? I'm just trying to work out whether this is a new bug or more likely a system incompatibility.
Could you give us an idea of your system specs too - that'll help us narrow down what's going on. Most put them in their signature (go to UserCP, top left) so they don't have to keep repeating it.
Hello. I have a laptop Acer TravelMate 291LCi with a Intel Pentium M 1.4GHz; Intel 855GM chipset;15.'"XGA TFT LCD; 4'GB Ultra ATA/1''HDD;512MB DDR SDRAM. It is what I know ... I am not a specialist in the field ...
The LightRoom version I have is the last (1.4).
Never saw the photos in slideshow. Only in order Loupe view.
Thank you for your attention and help.
Regards
When Lightroom has issues like this, it's usually down to the video card - either LR doesn't think that the video card is up to the job, or that you need to update the video card driver. So updating the video card driver has to be first thing to try.
The same "Black Screen" symptom happened to me yesterday after 8 hours of working in the develop module. Images were rendered 1:1 at import (about 25'). I choose randomly about half of them and the slideshow went to black.
My solution was to escape and give Lightroom some "breadth" by closing it and reopening. Images were still selected and when I started the slideshow, it went ok on screen. I stopped it only 3 hours later when it was still running fine.
Hello. My problem is different because it never managed to make a session of slideshow. I think my problem passing through softwear insufficient.
Thanks for your testimony.
