Beta 2, CS5, edit-in-photoshop

Installed CS5 last night, and removed CS3.

Now in LR3B2 the edit-in-photoshop is not available. I can pick CS5's executable as an external editor, but I had assumed integration.

Anyone else tried CS5 yet?

I installed the CS5 trial today and my edit in photoshop CS4 option in Lightroom 3 beta 2 has been replaced by an edit in photoshop CS5 option.

Did you uninstall CS3 and THEN install CS5? Or the other way round?

I installed CS5 and then removed CS3. Think that did it? I had assumed CS5 would surplant CS3. Hmm...

I'm going to rerun the CS5 install and see what happens.

I put photoshop cs5 on my computer yesterday & having the same problem in lightroom myself. Is there another fix instead of deleting photoshop cs5?

You might want to try uninstalling Lightroom and then re-installing Lightroom.

Does anyone have Lightroom 3 Beta 2 working with CS5?

And me!! I didn't un-install Photoshop CS3 either, just did a straight install of CS5 and my 'edit in Photoshop' was updated automatically in LR3b2 and LR2(.6).

Cs 5 works fine for me too.
I change the order of external editors cause I want cs5 32bit to be the first option ,most of my plug ins wont work in 64 bit and although I would have moved heaven and earth a few years ago to get 64 bit photoshop I cant tell the difference in editing times on most files.
surely just telling lr which editor to choose should work???

Same thing happened here after I removed PsCs4 and installed PsCs5. It was remedied easily by going to preferences and pointing the program to the new Photoshop.
