I am setting up a new computer to replace my old one. I've been using Photoshop for more years than I can remember. The old computer has a Streamdeck Plugin from Sideshow FX and the GuideGuide plugin. It also has a few simple actions I created that reference a simple JS script.

I'm wondering if anyone has best practices for moving Lightroom to a new computer, and how to port my plugins, JS and actions.

For moving Lightroom and Photoshop:
  • Catalogs & Presets: Copy .lrcat files, previews, and your presets to the new computer.
  • Plugins: Copy or reinstall them; add Lightroom plugins via File > Plugin Manager.
  • Actions & Scripts: Copy .atn files and JS scripts to the same folders as before.
  • StreamDeck Plugin: Reinstall the plugin fresh.

Always back up everything first and verify that plugins, actions, and scripts load correctly.
