I have two internal HDs of the same type and speed.
Disk 1: OS, users, Lightroom catalogue, previews.lrdata, LR cache.
Disk 2: All image files.
I've been told that it's a good strategy to have the files on one disk and catalogue on the other. Therefore the above organisation.
Since I have much free space on my disks, I thought now I would bump up the LR cache size to 5'gb or so.
Now I wonder; Would it make sense to change the location of the cache to the files disk? Any expert recommendations?
