Batch developing

Now that I have got this present and profile stuff figured out, I have searched the help areas and can not find how to apply a present to a selected group of picture all at once.

Can this only be done at initial import or can you do it when ever you need.

You could press G to jump to Grid view, select all the photos you want, then apply the preset via the Quick Develop panel.

Otherwise, you could use the Sync button in Develop to apply the settings from the most selected photo to the rest, or you could select a group of photos and enable Auto Sync (Hold the Ctrl/Cmd key and Sync changes to Auto Sync then click to engage) and apply the preset which would then automatically be applied to all photos.

Ahhh, I new it was so simple. I was tying to make my multiple selections from the filmstrip.

Don't be embarrassed, everyone goes through that at some point. The trick to remember is this -- if you're in a view with only one picture, changes apply only to that picture (exception: Auto Sync in Develop). If you're in a view with multiple pictures (Grid), then changes apply to all selected pictures.
