I searched the help file before posting...no luck

I made a bunch of changes today to my catalog. Before I did this I made a backup. Now that I am partially done, and I want to make another backup.

My question is:

I already backed up once today. If i ask LR to make another backup when i reboot will it overwrite the backup that exists in my backup folder (which has the same date as the new one will) or will there be some sort of number sequence that will be added on or something to the new backup (i.e. backupdate-1 or something)

thanks

LR makes separate date back-ups to a Back-up Folder that is by default inside your Lightroom Folder where the database and previews are.

The backup (containing folder) is named by date and time. If those are identical, there's a subscript added.

Here's from a test I just performed:

F:\_Lightroom 2 Library\experimental\Backups\2''9-'4-13 1931
F:\_Lightroom 2 Library\experimental\Backups\2''9-'4-13 1931-2

Had I waited a few minutes the 1931 (7:31 PM) would have changed to the then current time.
