Autorotate on import

Hi.

Is it possible in LR2 to PHYSICALLY auto rotate jpgs to portrait based on exif camera rotation when importing?

Photoshop does it when saving a file.

Hi edugalvez, welcome to the forum!

It won't rotate the actual files, as everything LR does is non-destructive. When you export the files, it resaves the file, just as saving in PS would do, and that stage would apply the rotation.

how about auto-rotate raw files upon import.
I cannot make it happen. I import 5D files

Whilst Geoff was kidding about the camera, being a Nikon fan, he's probably quite right. You have to have auto-rotate turned on in the camera.
