I have just installed LRC 11.4. Thanks to the new automatic preview purging feature I now have an extra 115GB on my hard drive :)

Nice one Adobe!
 
Oh happy days! I didn’t want to broadcast it too loudly until I’d heard additional results, but that is wonderful!
 
Yes, that was a nice feature to add. I was worried it might bog LrC while it cleaned up the previews, but it was fast and other than free space, I noticed nothing. It cut my preview file size in half.
 
This wonderful and welcome feature works fine on my sysytem. On my 3 catalogs, it reduces the size of the preview folder by 50% in average.
