Apparently the way LR syncs metadata was changed with the latest update. I want to be able to sync certain captions (of multiple pictures). It looks like I need to caption one and then select others, click on sync and than click synchronize when the synchronize metadata window appears. This was working for awhile, but has now stop working. I've tried closing and restarting LR, but still it isn't working.

Just to check (and apologies if this sounds obvious), you do have more than one photo selected?

Well, yes, when I was trying to sync, I had more than one photo selected, BUT, I realized that the Basic Info box on Synchronize Metadata was not checked. I think it was originally checked (because this worked earlier for me), but it must have become unchecked and I didn't realize it. I think we're all good now! Thank you!

Ah! It's the end result that matters, glad you worked it out!
