Astonished by Adaptive Color save

I have minor gripes about introducing noise into low ISO images but Adaptive Color just made my jaw drop.
Had the camera set on Manual 6400ISO from the night before, so some of my images were horribly overexposed at 1/4000 and f16.
Used a Preset that AI DeNoise, Remove Chromatic Aberration, then Adaptive Profile and -100 Highlights, not really expecting to save it. But very glad I tried.

Going a little off topic have you tried masking since the June update to 15.4.1. Talk about astonishing.
