Slideshow module Are there any scripts that provide a simple interface to play existing LrC slideshows?

I would like to make my Lightroom slideshows more accessible to other family members who would never cope with the complexity of the LrC interface. Is it possible to create a script that would display a simple selection menu for existing slideshows? If so, are any such scripts already available?

I'm trying to avoid exporting slideshows to video as Adobe currently limits this to HD resolution, so I want to play my slideshows direct from the Slideshow module..

I briefly looked at the EXIF ITPC headers of a Slideshow created JPEG in the Mac Preview app. It appears that most of the metadata fields are missing.
Well spotted! I've just run a test slideshow JPEG export for a couple of images to which I'd added some random text into the Extended Description, Instructions, Label and Headline fields. For no obvious reason, all of these metadata entries were wiped clean by the slideshow export process. Even worse, the Caption field was also erased. Virtually no metadata survived the export.

During the two weeks or so I have been investigating slideshow creation options, it has become clear that the devil is in the detail!

This is a point worth noting (ie metadata in Slideshow saved jpgs)...

but I had no expectation that these jpgs would contain metadata. I saw the possibility of using these, with the heavy formatting been done in the slide show... convenient, self contained images to be used in such tools as Powerpoint, if they need better presentation, transition, branding capabilities.
