Applying saved preset upon importing

Is there a way to automatically apply a saved preset to images being imported ? I am using the "watched folder" and shooting tethered with the EOS utility on a MAC.

Yes, in File > Auto Import >Auto Import Settings... > Information panel, choose a preset from the Develop Settings: drop-down list.
