does anyone know what time frames we can expect LR (and PS CS4) to be certified by Adobe to run on Snow Leopard when it is released shortly ?

Although Snow Leopard is being touted as an improvement rather than something very different from the current Leopard OS it has had some fundamental changes in it's core architecture and no doubt some of the API's have changed, Finder is good example and an app that LR integrates with very closely. My question was more around what is the normal expectation of Adobe, based on past upgrades with OSX.

Based on Leopard compatibility last time, 1.2 that was already out when Leopard was released was not fully compatible, and 1.3 that followed shortly thereafter was compatible (with a few leftover glitches).

LR relies more on Lua than Cocoa. The majority should be fine with a few minor adaptations from Adobe. I imagine there is a dot upgrade waiting in the wings for some quick testing and will be pushed out shortly after Snow Leopard pounces onto a Mac near you!

I am running SL on my laptop and LR seems to be working fine.

Unlike visualisation, which seems to keep hanging it when it comes out of sleep, but that's a thread for another forum :)

[/quote]Have they fixed the Spaces and Cmd-Tab or Click on Dock Icon to go to LR issues?

Thanks, I knew someone out there would be running it ;-)

I run LR in space 2.
If I am in space 1 and open LR it switches to the right space.
Cmd-Tab switches to LR correctly too.

Let me know if there is anything else needed to be checked.
