I've been using Dropbox to sync the catalog files between 2 Macs. It has worked for a couple of years with no issues, as long as only one copy is open at a time and enough time is provided for syncing . All LR and Dropbox are up to date.
But recently I have had problems, where one Catalog folder is up to date and the other one is...not quite. The .lrcat file updates with no issue. But the lrcat-data, and the 4 .lrdata" files," (on a Mac at least, they are package folders that appear as single files) do not update across properly. On the "good side"" those 4 are dated 5/24 but on the "bad" side they are dated 5/19.
I worked with sometime with the Dropbox folks and they are escalating there, but I was wondering if anyone else is using Dropbox to sync and if they've had issues lately?
Thanks,
Mike
