Any solution to this problem ???

Hi everybody,

Yesterday i did a big mistake in my workflow :-[ :-[ :-[ and I wonder if it can be any way to try to solve it.
I imported some photos to a catalogue but without moving them from the card (SD). Then I formated the card ( :'( :'( :'( :'( ).

Now, as expected, Lightroom can't find the photos. But I think that some kind of preview is in some place, so maybe it can be possible to recover the previews ??

I would really appreciate any idea you can give to me to recover the photos (the quality is not important).

As long as you not have taken any pictures after you formatted the sd-card they can still be recovered from your card. Good info here: http://www.recoverdeletedpictures.com/

Also there is a plugin to export the previews as jpg's. Cant remember the name of the plugin, but I'm sure someone else here can help you.

Lr/Viewer will allow you to rescue LR's previews, if you can't get the files back from the card, but I'd agree, if you haven't shot over the card, they're probably recoverable anyway.
