Another printing Problem LR2.7 Mac

I am printing to an epson 988' and trying to use a specific media icc profile without success.
When I try to print Then into Colour Settings - I do not get the option to use Colorsync as it is greyed out. Then try Printer settings Colour settings off Select correct media Then try the advanced tab - and the area show ONLY the the media is set and the the epson profile is selected with no other options available.

Any Ideas

If you set LR to manage the printing via an icc profile then the colour management in the print driver is disabled (greyed out). This is normal and how you would want it to be.

I understand what you are saying. the problem that when you go to print - the color matching - is set to let epson manage color and cannot be changed. The print setting in basic is ok but then in tyhe advance area it is not possible to pick a profile as it has already picked it and no other is available. I am pulling my hair out.

The color matching is set to epson but its greyed out so color management is not really active... You choose the profile in LR not in the driver so thats why it is all greyed out ( thats the way I understand it anyway)

Thanks for the reply but that is not quite true. When it is greyed out but has the Epson button active Epson Driver has controll. So in fact media type can be chosen but no alternative profile can be.

I wonder what the difference is. Could you tell me what ver of LR what ver of the epson driver so I can try an issolate it. It is stopping me from getting my work done.

On my Mac, I have to switch Lightroom to 32 bits rather than 64 to print on my Epson and have full control. Can you check this? ::)
