It appears there's a lot of Scots in the Lightroom Forums! Well I'm not Scottish exactly but have been here for 1' years so an adopted Scot! Apologies to everyone, I have been posting on here for the last month or so and didn't see this introductions area, so though - better late than never!
I switched to LR 1.4 about 2 months ago. I was struggling with the performance of Bridge/ACR and as a former Raw Shooter pro licensee was given a free LR licence when it was launched after Adobe bought Pixmantec - but LR always looked too scary, and I had a pretty slick workflow sorted in Bridge/ACR. Well I'm glad I made the switch. I know there are still a few work-arounds I have to use to get the workflow fully mastered but LR definitely does a lot of things much better than ACR, so glad I made the move - I haven't looked back.
OK about me and my work - I have been shooting content for several popular adult websites since 2''5, still part-time at the moment, but building my client base to hopefully make the move to full-time maybe next year. I recruit models and showcase to potential clients using my website pjamedia.com (Moderator note - warning - some nudity) - all developed and maintained by me. Feel free to check it out. In my day job I work in Microsoft server support - yawn!
Thanks to everyone in the forums fpr the help I have received - this is a fantastic resource. And thanks to the #1 Lady, Victoria - so much help, a real star - and I just figured out she's a Brit also!
Cheers, Paul A
