I get this error on the LRC screen when viewing the any photo in the latter part of an "Import Photos and Videos" from iPhone to LRC on my PC. (No videos were included in the import, but the last 10 photos were "live.") The import seemed to finish without errors; but after the first 10 dated folders containing 138 photos, the remaining 20 photos in the last 13 new folders remain blurry and show up this message. (Come to think of it, I'm not sure LRS showed me the complete import on the screen after completion, but it is there in "Previous Import" all the same.)

I've been using this version of LRC (I know it's outdated!) for a long time because I've been too busy to update and/or worried about potential problems with the newer AI features. I've never seen this kind of error before although I've surely imported more photos (perhaps not more folders?) at a time before. Both the iPhone and the LRC catalog already contain a very large number of photos and a fair number of videos.

Any ideas what might be going wrong? -- jclarkw

Update: I should have mentioned that all of the photos in this import were HEIC (jpeg) files. Not surprisingly, I suppose, the image files on the hard drive are perfectly sharp when viewed outside LRC.

There must be something wrong with the display process within LRC. Perhaps it's just showing me the thumbnails on full screen, but why on just this subset of photos? -- jclarkw

Any reason not to upgrade to 14.2 LrC.
From memory, I recall there might be an option to convert Heic to other formats.
