"An error occurred sending the file: a file was truncated during upload"

I continue to have problems, after using LIghtroom for a year or two, in getting web galleries to post. The error message above is the latest. I tried exporting the folder to a new catalog, but the same thing happens - error message. What could be causing this? I can open Photoshop and create a web gallery that way, but I prefer using the workflow in Lightroom 2.3 (when it works). Thanks,

Lynne, Lr's built-in FTP client is not known for its robustness. You're not alone in encountering mystery problems. If you have a stand-alone FTP client, you may find it more reliable. Choose the 'export' option, instead of the 'upload' option in the web module. Save the web package on your local drive and upload it via the separate FTP.

Well thanks. I really prefer the upload option since I can hit upload and be done with it. Or at least I did this for months until it started messing up. Any ideas what those error messages mean?

The error is very generic. It basically means the file transfer 'broke' while copying the file. It could be any number of problems that cause it. It may have nothing to do with LR, it could be a change at the host end or even a network issue.

I found out that it was a case of not enough space on my server! Thank goodness for a solution.
