Adjustment Brush Problem

Hello,
I am new to this forum and hope that I haven't overlooked earlier postings in this matter.
I am running LR 2.3 on a Mac Pro and all works well, but for the Adjustment Brush. When I initiate the brush and start painting, it shows up as a red area and none of the adjustments show, although I have plenty of RAM! Strangely, the adjustments do show in the Navigator, so there must be a setting I am not aware of!
Any thoughts on this?

John, Welcome to the forums.

Press O, which will enable/disable the adjustment mask 'O'verlay display. Shift O will cycle thru several exciting color options for the display.

Also good to know is that th key "h" will hide the dots where you can select your changes. Just in case they disappear press "h" and they will be back....
