Adjustment Brush problem

In last few days suddenly the white donut dot has been disappear on the picture every time I use the adjustment brush (the dot which which is shows the red area has beens mask/paint for local adjustment and when you move the mouse over top that those dots) I used LR 2.2 have tried to reset to default on all fields in preferences, but no helps (even installs the 2.3). What I did wrong?

If I read your question correctly I think you are wanting to hit the H key for hide/unhide.
