adjustment brush presets not showing

I have adjustment presets that are seen in the local adjustment folder of lightroom. But they do not appear once the application is launched. Suggestions?

Off hand, I would say you have the "Store Presets with Catalog" option checked in Preferences. Uncheck it and they should appear.

Just to make sure...
• Are they located in Home > Library > Application Support > Adobe > Lightroom > Local Adjustment Presets?
• Are there any other presets there? If so do they work?
• Have you tried creating a preset yourself and saving it? Does that show up?

yes they are there. I did create a pre set and it remained. Very strange

Strange indeed. The presets are in the correct place and you cannot see any of them when trying to choose one inside the Adjustment Brush. You cannot see the one you made or the ones that came installed with LR? Hmmm.

Have you tried moving the pref-file out of its location? They´re located in User > Library > preferences. The names should be "com.adobe.Lightroom2.plist" and "com.adobe.Lightroom2.LSSharedFileList.plist". Drag them to your desktop, restart LR and try again. If the problem is gone throw away your old pref-files. If the problem is still there put the old ones back and throw away the newly created.

If this doesn´t work I don´t know how to solve it. Maybe someone else...

My other thought - just check and see if 'store presets with catalog' is checked or not in the LR prefs too.

I basically started from scratch and just re-imported everything and hope it stays. Must be a glitch somewhere
