I've install the DX0 Nik Collection. LR Preferences allow me to choose the default external editor and choose file format, color space, etc., for each of the 7 plugins. But, LR doesn't appear to remember these settings for those that are not selected as the default. They just keep returning to sRGB etc. Is there a way to make the preference settings stick for those that not the default?

You have to save the settings as a new preset. Then you can select the preset from the ‘Edit in...’ menu. That does not only effectively give you as many second editors as you like, it will also remember the settings for each one.

Thanks. I hadn't noticed the Save option. This means I'll have to to invent 7 new names. Do you happen to know where these presets are saved on disk?

In the same parent folder as where all the other presets (except the develop presets) are stored. Go to the Lightroom preferences - Presets tab and click on the button 'Show All Other Lightroom Presets'.

Thank you so much. I really should have been able to discover this for myself. I can now see a way to edit the these preset files directly.
