Lightroom Android 8.1.2 doesn't see my SD card when attached via USB-C dongle to either my Galaxy Tab S8+ or Galaxy S21FE phone. To add photos I use a file manager to move/copy the files to one of the internal folders listed under "Device Folders". Is that the normal workflow? (That list, by the way, has no navigation and doesn't match any directory paths that I can see in the file manager, so where does that list come from?). Ideally I'd like to drop files into a local watchfolder that Lightroom auto-adds. Am I missing something obvious here? Thanks!

I've managed to answer my own questions thru some trial/error and these forum threads, so thx! I set up a watched import folder on the tablet and found a file manager that will at least open when the card reader is inserted. I guess Android (or Samsung?) won't auto-open a card reader with its native filemanager?? Either way, is there a reason Lightroom (on my Galaxy Tab S8+) can't import from an external drive?
