'Add to new collection' Keystroke?

I have created a new colelection and know I can drag to it but is there a keystroke to add to a specific collection?

Nope, best I can come up with is to hit B to add each image to the Quick Collection, and then assign the whole lot to the proper collection from there.

what I wanted in my mind's eye was that when you right click the menu it includes an "Add to collection>List of collections" (that you have created)

Hopefully you could 'command-click or shift click several and do the lot at once

at the moment it nary seems to support commands much to more than one file selected via shift clicked or command clicked

Seems like a good feature request as an extension to the Painter tool.

FWIW I get round this by giving the images I want to move a colour tag, show only images with that colour tag via the filter thing, cmd+a to select all and drag to the collection.

A right click menu item would be nice.

Sure, still a two ( or more) click process though
