Add Copyright Watermark not working

Hi there,
Last time I exported a batch using the email settings and checking "add copyright watermark' and left the other boxes unchecked ...it worked fine, as it had many times before.
Now tonight ...that doesn't work at all. Tried 3 times, then unchecked that choice and exported once, deleted that file and tried again with watermark checked again ..and it didnt work. Finally rebooted and tried again and it still won't work. The files save fine ...just no watermark. Checked my 'identiity plate' settings and they look fine.
Has anyone had this experience and found a solution?

Is the copyright metadata correct? This is what is used to insert the copyright watermark.

The Copyright Watermark that one gets from a Export in LR has nothing to do with the ID Plate. Kees is correct in that the Metadata field 'Copyright' has to be filled in for each image. If you have field in that metadata, then the watermark can still be missed on a original size export because it will be quite small and possibly easily missed on a quick inspection of a file.

I went into the metadata and sure enough the photos were not shown as copyrighted nor was my copywrite text there. I added it and it worked. I don't know how I failed to get that in there during Import. It might have been because I was getting undesired tags on everything and probably imported those naked.
One thing ...I tried to enter the "©" symbol by typing alt-'169 and it wouldn't take in the copyright text box. Is there a way to get that in there?

On the ©, that method is working for me on Vista, Lr 2.4. Perhaps reboot/restart and give it another try.

Also, use the Alt key left of the spacebar, not the one on the right...

Did that and got it working ...I noticed a long (2 or 3 sec) delay between typing Alt'169 and the © showing up in the text box. That could have been the problem initially and it may have shown up had I waited for it.
