Geoff..... I fled Auckland and moved to Christchurch around 3 years ago after deciding I did not want to lose 3 hours of my life each day fighting the traffic. It's all good down here in the South and especially enjoy having 4 distinctive seasons. I am originally from the UK so the colder winters suits me just fine.

Be sure to let me know if you are ever in this neck of the woods.

I have recently rekindled my passion for photography after being too busy to do it justice. It feels good to be chatting with other like minded individuals. I have been playing with Lightroom since the beta days but have only just started to give it the attention it deserves.

I fled Awkward too - drove me nuts !!:shock::shock:
I love the small town life and the climate - very similar to Canterbury.
Ditto, if you are up this way, call in!! You may pick up a few tricks!!;);)
