8 Bit Depth?

new to LR and loving it.

I need to make sure my pics are 8 bit depth. i can't find the info out anywhere. how can i determine the bit depth?

Welcome. If your images are raw, they have no bit depth. You determine that on export. JPEG export will be 8bit. You can set 8 or 16 bit for export to PSCS in the preferences, along with RGB choice. For Export to TIFF or PSD there is a choice along with RGB, again in the Export dialogue.

Existing TIFFs and PSD I doen't know how you tell in LR.

JPEGs, of course will be 8bit by default.
