3rd Party Plug-Ins - Portraiture & Noiseware

[Kellynorthshore]

Has anyone heard if Adobe will release the info the 3rd party companies need to make plug-ins for Lightroom v2?

Bibble and Aperture both do it. Right now Lightroom does just about everything I need when it comes to editing my images. I don't want to have to use CS3 if I don't have to especially for my sports work. My portrait work I may still have to to clean up skin properly but the more steps I can take care of in RAW the better.

Can't say anything about Bibble, but there's nothing for Adobe to do if you want LR to match Aperture - no Aperture "plug-ins", certainly none of the image processing ones, edit the raw file. In LR2, set up Noiseware standalone as an external editor and, like Aperture's so-called plug-ins, you can send a TIF file to it.
