2 of the same folder showing up in Lr

Yesterday, I mistakenly imported some trash files (html) into Lr. This caused Lr to crash whenever the image came up in the viewer on my screen. Weird, but luckily I was able to get the files out of Lr, and everything seems all better.

However, during the crash, I pulled out the external drive everything is stored without unmounting it. I know know that mac and programs really don't like that.

Now post crash, in my left nav, Lr is showing the same external drive twice. And now when I import, it goes to the second one.

What did I do and is it fixable?

There was a bug creating folder "Duplicatas" in Lightroom 2.'. You just say you use LR2. First thing to check or do is having Lightroom 2.1 (or 2.2 soon).

I'm on 2.1, thanks, have tried everything from restarting to unmounting the drive, to opening closing Lr with the drive mounted / unmounted, etc. It's like after that crash / bad eject, it created another file.

I deleted the 2 folders that were created under the duplicate external in Lr, via Lr, then removed them from the files, now that duplicate is gone...

I've imported more pics and they are going to the correct external name, and only one external is visible in Lr.

Think I figured out the problem here. I renamed the external drive where all the images are stored. Named them the same, but different case. Don't know a way to delete the one that creates a duplicate folder in Lr catalog on import. I do know which one to select when importing... I can choose the correct one on the drop down "copy to" at import.
