It's like I'm starting all over on LR Classic - my catalogs are still there but I lost all my plugins, presets, templates, etc. I can see them in my AppData/Roaming/Adobe/Lightroom folder but it LRc cannot pick them up. How do I get them back? Does 11.4.1 point to a different place for these items now?

Check the LrC Preferences>Presets tab to see if "Store presets with this catalog" is enabled. If it is, uncheck it to see if that restores everything.

Thanks - I did that and no restore. I should add I've lost all my Lightroom preferences as well - it's as if the Lightroom 11.4.1 update is pointing at a blank configuration file. I'm having to reselect all of my options in all of the modules.

Check whether the update to LrC 11.4.1 created a new catalog. If so, fall back to your last most recent catalog. Edit>Catalog Settings. In the General tab, click Show to go to the location of the catalogs and select the most recent one before you updated. Hope that works.

If the preferences file got wiped (I've seen other reports of that happening) you could certainly expect all added plug-ins to "disappear" and have to be added again via the Plug-in Manager. Presets shouldn't be affected by that however, unless you previously had them stored with the catalog, which you appear not to have done....so I'm somewhat at a loss to understand where they have gone.

As far as I recall, even if you have to re-add the plugin, the data to the plugin should still be thee.
