I just caught glimpse of users having issues with 1.4; has adobe worked out theses issues and released 1.4.1 or is the one and same release.

Yes, 1.4.1 is the most stable release to date. 1.4 did have some pretty big bugs and was withdrawn almost immediately, but they're fixed in 1.4.1. Upgrade, and if you have problems, you can easily switch back to the version you're currently using.
