I didn't have any real problems when I went to CC Paul, so I don't know what went wrong for you. The thing is that the soft proof function in Lightroom should show a reasonable approximation of the print but the Epson print preview is not in any way colour managed. I think it's just intended to...
No problem. Glad it was of some help. I think that Adobe fail to inform the manufacturers in time for them to release their new drivers. Or maybe they don't tell them at all. Either way it really isn't acceptable.
In my opinion it is now a lot better but still not right. On fine detail and particularly certain types of foliage the effect is still there but you do have to be very critical to notice it. I use X-transformer on the few images that need it. X-transformer costs $36.

John, I agree with what you say regarding the detail setting. In general I find the same. However, as far as the poorer detail performance of Lightroom is concerned, it cannot be fixed with low or high detail settings. There are two different demosaicing types in X-transformer. 'More detailed'...
Hi Dave. Yes certainly. It might take me a little while to sort one out as I deleted all the test files. I will have a look to see what I have got tomorrow. The issue is found when the raw conversion is done in lightroom and is not found when the raw conversion is done in X-Transformer. As I...
Hi there. I was idly looking at the forum when I noticed this post. I joined so that I could reply! I have Lightroom Classic CC and Iridient X-transformer.The problem is definitely a real one, applies only to Adobe Camera Raw and is seen with the later sensors (I have an X-T2). It only affects...
