Yes, I agree with lesser as well. I tried using Creative Cloud for a while but was constantly plagued by the fact that the sync operation always seemed to get stuck in an endless loop. Has anyone else experienced that and managed to fix it?
Hi Jim, I can appreciate and understand the point you're making. You'll be pleased to hear that I have purchased a card reader, which Lightroom recognises. I can now import photos into Lightroom again using my customary workflow. Thanks again for your support!

No. I thought that might be the problem as well, so I disabled its auto-download feature and eventually killed the process a few days ago - but it hasn't helped.
