    Is there a facility to discover all these type of images? Then select them and tell LRC to overwrite the settings. I keep finding the odd image in my Catalog that behaves like this. I would be nice to be able to know that all were fixed. Thanks.

    Thanks for confirming that I wasnt going mad! Been having a poor technology week (three punctures on same car tyre, Drobo B800 (16TB RAID unit) gone belly up - wont attach to any machine, MacMini Server i7 2.3GHz 4 core 16GB RAM (2012) damaged by lightning strike.

    Well my LR v6.12 Perpetual doesnt offer me the update from the Help > Updates. Via the Adobe Creative Cloud Updater it shows that I have LR Classic CC installed....     Very strange the app I was using to view my small JPGs now shows the internal thumbnails! So it want not a LR issue.

    When I Export to a full sized JPG my images have a thumbnail embedded but if I Export smalll JPGs there is no thumbnail. Does anyone know the image size (pixels or kB) when this turnover happens. Or have I missed something in the Export dialogue (I have looked). Thanks.

    Johan, Thanks for the example. That looks like a good system for ensuring unique filenames. I would use it but I tend to work with two or three cameras so I think I would need to use a modified but similar system to try and keep files in Capture time order.
