Amazon are killing off the 'Unlimited' storage options.
This is the problem with cloud storage. Become dependent on it, and you are at their mercy. (same with subscription models of software)
I agree about staying with the current version 6. However, there a lot of 'improvements & additions' to the CC version that the perpetual license did not get. There is NO reason for holding those back from the perpetual license other than a money grab by Adobe.
But only for the subscription model. Those of us that use the perpetual license miss out on a lot of enhancements. And there is no reason for that (as it's the same software) except for trying to force you to move to the subscription model.

I just suffered the irretrievable death of my iMac. Data and photos are all backed up ok.
I'm doing a clean install of everything, rather than a restore from backup. (It seemed like an opportune time)
I'm having difficult finding the 'major version' of 6 for my perpetual license. Can someone...
I just un-zipped a 12.06Gb archive using the Mac in built utility.(Unzipped size is 16.86Gb)
All files look as expected, load into the correct audio editing app and play as normal.
I've not had that issue.
My 'thing' is recording choral and orchestral concerts. I record these in Hi Rez (96kHz/24Bit) and the resulting files are around 1Gb per channel per hour. So a 5 channel recording for 1 hour is around 5 Gb. After editing etc, the resulting file is often over 10 Gb. I...
If you've done an initial back up of a folder with ChronoSync, and that folder has been verified, then any further syncing and verification should be indicitive that the entire folder is correct. If the initial files have been verified and then subsequent files verified, you can be sure that all...
