I can't really understand the issue as I have the Win 7 64bit installed, Iprint on Epson r3000 and often on Canson Baryta Photographique without any issues and without printer managing the colour. What is really the problem you're facing ?
I had once this problem when was printing through network and the printer was stuck at some moment. When I printed these photos with the same driver but from a computer directly connected through USB cable there was no issue at all ....
Well I bought my R19'' a few weeks ago and I'm still amazed buy this printer. Excellent quality, colors and as far as I'm concerned the BW and matte papers are really well managed. For me the choice was also related to financial issue but I want the roll paper that is why I went that direction...

First in Plugin Manager disable the Mogrify plugin
Reboot the computer
Unzip the updated plugin
Launch Lightroom and enable the plugin
I had to do it 3 times until it worked
Well did not have the problems till now ... but :( Since I upgraded the L2Mogrify plugin to its 4.11 version it is no longer possible to export photos with the plugins exporting to Flickr, Smugmug etc.
Everytime I get the message:
"Whoa, the exported copy [file location] does not exist...
as I have exactly the same problem but with Mogrify itself I would love to see what are the results of your test. I will do it in the evening at home :)

Well I use RoboGEO as I had recently problems with the GPS plugin for Lightroom. Now I change the exif in RoboGEO in DNG files and then just "ask" in Lightroom to read metadata from files
Well just to tell you that I checked it out a few minutes ago and my old plugin for Gallery export works perfectly and without problems a photo has been exported to Gallery
The photo itself is not really worth looking as this is a randomly chosen one from the just imported to Lightroom series...
