  • The May 2019 Lightroom updates are now available. There's a brand new slider called Texture, available across the whole family of apps. Lightroom Classic includes a new tool called Flat Field Correction. Lightroom (cloud-based service) has lots of big improvements including cloud trash, invitation-only web galleries, improved chromatic aberration removal and more. The Missing FAQ and Edit Like a Pro eBooks are already updated for the changes. You'll also notice the CC's have disappeared off the end of the names, so we've updated the forum names to match.

Migrated library to Cloud, Can I now remove my local images?

So now migration is complete. The upload process is going to take about 8 days to transfer almost 1TB. Thing is it's saying after just a few hours the cloud storage is already at 1TB. There is no way its uploaded that volume in just a few days. So basically its a calculation of how much space is...

Migrated library to Cloud, Can I now remove my local images?

Hey, Thanks for the response. I would be keeping a local back up for disaster purposes but initially, I want to just have my library in the cloud only.

Migrated library to Cloud, Can I now remove my local images?

Hi, I migrated my entire Classic Library to the Lightroom standard app. It's made a local copy and it's now in the process of uploading them to the cloud. Basically, I want to have my library only exist in the cloud. Once this process is snyc'd what are my next steps to keep my lightroom...

Syncing Classic with CC. My solution.

Hi all, What I am trying to achieve here is the ability to have my entire library locally configured in Classic with access to everything via CC. This is how I have achieved this so far; Images are imported into a folder structure. This is the structure; Camera; Canon 5D Mark II/ Canon 5D...

Right so this 1TB of storage I've got with Lightroom CC, Photoshop and Classic will be only based on collections and not the local folder storage of Classic?

    Lightroom 2017 is coming

Tweeted Adobe a few days ago as after sinking 3k into a top of the line iMac with thunderbolt storage etc I was hugely annoyed at the performance. I tweeted Adobe and was told there will be a major Lightroom 2017 release this year with no say on specific dates with the focus on performance...

Folder Structure for a decade of photography

Hi, I have been photographing since 2005 (some years more than others) I'm looking at re-structuring my library. I'm going with a collection/flagged focused system. Previously I have done the date route format (Its great for backup solutions and avoiding filename duplicates but thats about it)...
