    Yes....some name changes I did on the Hard Drive I was able to connect, but others (not many) when reselected disappear in LR but fortunately not on the Drive. I'll have to step by step go through LR to resolve the issue.

    ok, thanks....the problem may be in the camera's menu...i use a Sony ar7ii. or maybe the card itself could be corrupted. have a great holiday season.

    Gentlemen....the photos did import as ARW into LR 6m, but i cannot open other than in the Library Mode....they dont open in Develop Mode...after careful looking into the ar7ii, i discovered they will open in LR 6 Compressed but not Compressed.....as to the Mac, i am sure i will need a updated...

    I have a sony a7ii and an old 2008 MAC desktop at OSX Yosemite 10.10. The ARW files will not open in either the Mac desktop or the LR 6 Library.

    No....most of the new sony files i can adjust in lightroom, but only one batch came up with the exclamation point telling me i cannot adjust in develop module...none of the new sony image arw.files are visible on the hard drive, but they are visible in lightroom....weird?
