    I can't figure out the difference in the distortion between the jpeg and RAW files. Is there a way to be able to view only what the camera interprets?

    I've noticed that my Fujifilm 18-55mm Lens is the culprit. I'm not seeing this type of barrel distortion with the Viltrox 85mm or the Fujifilm 55-200mm lenses. I called Fujifilm, they say to send the lens to them, there's nothing that I can do with settings to correct the distortion on the jpegs.

    Right, just that the sharpen techniques with Nikon files worked without issue. Now with Fuji I'm relearning. I too found that the detail slider is a major source of problems and the masking has very much helped. Photography - you never stop learning!
