    COMPARING IMAGES

@Replytoken Good idea. I actually do have some other software that I have not been using - will try that out. @clee01l How are you getting your photos to Classic for finalization? I think it's a good idea to try out... I can only send over the photos I want to work on to Classic and work from...

    COMPARING IMAGES

I really miss the compare functionality of Classic. Will try the thumbnail idea but so far is does not give enough size to compare soft focus or any really detailed comparisons. Anyone find other ways to do this? I often compare 2 to 6 photos of birds to try and decide which is best and no...

Thoughts on backing up Lightroom cloud?

Not to be negative, but I think a Backup of a Backup does make sense. As an example, Garmin has been dealing with a Ransomware issue for the past week or so. Were our friends at Adobe to be a victim AND you had a hard drive failure, you could lose a lot. I use a separate backup service to back...

    Any new connections coming?

Ok - to answer my own question, I found that I can upload via browser directly to SmugMug. I guess I was focusing on the desktop app too much!

    Any new connections coming?

Does anyone know if any new "Connections" are coming? I see the three (Portfolio, Blurb & WHCC), but would really like to see connections to SmugMug, Facebook, Instagram, etc.

    Auto Advance?

I am used to Auto-Advance in the Desktop Version but don't see it in the cloud-based. Is it gone in this version OR am I just not looking in the right place?

    Seperated from my desktop!

I bought @Victoria Bampton's latest books and she talks through the workflow of using CC and Cloudy. I am working via Cloudy while I am away and will TeamViewer into my home computer when necessary. Good chance to try out the cloud version and see what I think!

    Seperated from my desktop!

@clee01l & @Califdan, Thanks for the LR/Cloudy desktop suggestion. I have not used it but will try it out right away. I did have my iMac turned on at home - and can remotely access, but prefer to work locally if I can. I will test out the remote syncing. Will update you on my success!

    Seperated from my desktop!

Hello all - Due to the pandemic, my iMac is in my normal home and I am far away with a very nice MacBook Pro. I normally use Lightroom Classic and synchronize Collections that I want to share with others and access/edit from my iPhone or iPad. I don't seem to have this option from my MacBook...

    Best Tablet (for the $)

Bought your book last night, Victoria, and definitely picked up some "missing facts" that were useful in LRM on my iPhone 6. The delays in release for Android tablets also help me decide to go with the iPad.

    Best Tablet (for the $)

Great advice everyone! I am definitely targeting the iPad.... NOW question #2. Which one? I have ruled out the iPad Pro - since I want to read/process/do stuff on the subway and don't want A) to be a target B) feel cramped C) spend so much in $. The iPad Mini 4 seems pretty solid with an...

    Best Tablet (for the $)

Hey all - I am adding Mobile into my workflow - with the main intention to use a tablet (or my iphone) to Flag, Rate and do some minor edits. I am already syncing a bunch of collections and love how the mobile works on my iPhone - though the size is a bit challenging. My birthday is next...
