Lr automatically saves the edits as you go along. Not sure that some other "saving"mechanism would help - maybe creating a Virtual Copy would give you want you need. Personally I would be more interested in finding the cause of the crashes. The software should not behave in the manner you...
Greg, interesting stuff. I really must give Publish Services a go. One question, what happens re images already uploaded to, say, Flickr? Do they sync back to Lr or are they ignored? I imagine they are ignored as they could have been uploaded from anywhere.
Know what you mean. I don't see the software as anything special nowadays. It may have been once but the others have caught it up. I can get much better results and far quicker with Lr, where I find the masking far superior (not to mention the dam).
Not surprising. Why DxO have not changed it is one of life's mysteries but as I say the ON1 plugin does a good enough job for me (mind you so does Lr most of the time).
The file size is an unfortunate bi-product. It is the same with ON1 No Noise, which I tend to use with Lr as it works on tiff, jpeg etc as well as raw. It may not be as good as Pure Raw, not in th eyes of some, but it is still very good and certainly good enough for me. That said, I cannot...
It's weird, we have subscription that runs and runs with no end date and a start date way back when, yet Adobe say it is an annual plan. I can see why some say the business model sucks. It is either an annual contract or it is not - just a way for Adobe to get money out of departing subscribers...
Yes I do see that, Jim, but it is certainly not clear as to when the current period expires or even if there is a period (which we know there is). If there is an annual plans then it should show the current plan start and end date, surely!
Could someone please tell me where I can find the run out date of my subscription? I've looked under manage plan and just cannot see it. It is all rather strange, to me, as this is a subscription which is open ended yet Adobe talk of cancellation fees if you cancel within the period (presumably...
The M1 chip and ram work differently together in comparison to the Intel Macs. I have never experienced an issue other than a positive one - better performance.
This is all so predictable and to be honest boring now. I thought you had found some new way to process raw. That seems not to be the case so I have lost all interest and am no longer following this thread.
There is an equivalent list in C1, ON1 and just about every other piece of software. I get the picture and we can all run to the bug list to support our argument. You do not convince me or many others I suspect , although I I understand the real issue (I think). Given the size of the Adobe...
Well compared to C1, Lr asset management is a dream and I have C1 21 on my iMac. Still I hope you are happy with whatever you choose. For me Lr is the better, especially with Ps on the side. At £10 per month I find the Adobe product brilliant . With Lr, LrC, Mobile and more besides it cannot be...
Would you like to share :)
I have looked around over the years but never found anything that is so significantly different that I have felt the need for change. The closest I came was when I switched to Fuji but raf processing in Lr is much improved.
