Lightroom Version Number
Lightroom Classic version: 10.3
Operating System
  1. Windows 10
I have tried to update Creative Cloud Desktop, Camera Raw, Bridge, and Photoshop but every time I get Error Code 306. I am reluctant to try to update Lightroom in case anything goes wrong. Followed the advice on the Adobe website to do a direct download for Creative Cloud but when I ran the file that also failed with the same error.

I really want to update Lightroom to v11 to access the new features but am completely stuck. I will be really grateful if anyone can help me solve this problem.

In case it helps I am currently running Photoshop 22.4.2, Bridge 11.1.1.185, Lightroom Classic 10.3, Camera Raw 13.3, Creative Cloud Desktop 5.6.0.788

How much free space is on your system volume?

Is this over wifi? Can you try a wired connection?

I have a wired connection between my PC and the router.

As already mentioned I successfully downloaded the Creative Cloud update file so no problem with connectivity.

Problem solved. Used the Creative Cloud Uninstaller, from Adobe website, tried the repair option but it appeared to do an uninstall and then reinstall. This took Creative Cloud Desktop to v 5.6.0.788.2. From Creative Cloud Desktop checked for updates and then Update All and this worked. :)
