Since I tried zooming in with ctrl+Z or Alt+Z my min & max windows symbols have disappeared. So I now have to hit the windows key on my keyboard to access other programs! Any ideas?

Cycle thru the short cut combination of Shift F to get to various combinations of how the screen is displayed. There are three options, one , at least, should provide the required symbols.

Thanks - tried that and nothing happens - however I must have read sometime about F11 keyboard key - hit that and the min/max line reappears!
