2 operations in progress reported but they never finish

LR6 is putting up a warning "2 operations in progress" but it has been that way for hours and they never finish

I can do an import while this is posted but dunno what is going on - at least the pgrom is not completely hung...

Hi Ralf, if you click on it, what does it say those 2 operations are?

both say 'moving files' and still going today!!

I have a Mac running High Sierra and Lightroom Classic. Not sure if this is the same thing. When I move files from my HD to and EHD the progress bad does it's thing but often does not dissapear when done. The files are moved but the progress bar is still there but there is no activity. I just click on the x and close itr.

HD is hard drive. EHD is external hard drive where I keep my files. It only happens with those moves. When moving files around on the HD it doesn't happen. This just started out of the blue about year ago. I could not figure it out so I just hit the x at the end of the progress bar after the files have been moved.

Thx, still don't know what 'itr' is. But I do not have an external HDD.

I fear closing LR6 as it may lose something it is in the middle of processing.

Have the files been physically moved? Can you post a screen shot of the message, etc.
