Thanks a lot for great feedback!!
Your tip to run a search on search results in the filmstrip is really great.
I like the way you can search for faces. One or several faces+from baby to elderly+male or female+smile or no smile.
I'm about to purchase the product as well.
I have installed the Excire Search 2024 trial version and it looks very promising.
Finding most of the subjects I have been testing to search for.
What are your initial thoughts about the product?
Hi
I need to install LrC on an older Mac that I have borrowed just for running a LrC-course for our photo club.
I'm not familiar with Mac at all, but seems quite straightforward to get used to.
The problem is that the latest version of LrC cannot be installed on this Mac.
It is running MacOS...
One thing I love with Cloudy Lightroom (and that's about all  ) is the AI Sensei search and lesser need for 100% keywording.
Finding "blue flowers" even though not keyworded is awesome.
Is that not possible to have in LrC as well? Not exactly sure how it works behind the scenes.
I enjoy reading about new major options and dealbreakers in the "Photograpy Plan" products.
The lastest hype about "Local Mode" in Lightroom Desktop for instance.
Many seems to think it's a dealbreaker and finally a reason to leave LrC.
My question is more related to why Adobe initially wanted...
Perfect, then I was right about true RGB only available in Soft Proofing way back in older versions, thanks!
I hate finding out that what I previously knew was all wrong from the very beginning :D
In previous Lightroom Classic versions it was possible to display true RGB values from 0-255 (not percentage from 0-100%) in the Develop Module when Soft Proofing was enabled and moving the mouse cursor over areas in any image.
Has this feature/option been removed in the new version 13.0?
Thommy
Hi
Can anyone explain and give examples what nested criteria's in collections can be used for.
I cannot get my head around how it works.
Make it very simple - like explaining for a 5 year old Thommy :D
Thanks!!
Yes, understood - but shouldn't the "used" sliders move.
I think I have seen this happen before. But maybe other Amount slider somewhere else in Lightroom Classic?
Or have this behavior changed from earlier versions?
Hi
Shouldn't the Tone and Color sliders move all at once and proportionately, when moving the Amount slider left or right?
Nothing happens to the sliders, but the expected effect decreases or increases alright.
I have tried with the checkbox "Reset Sliders Automatically" on and off - no difference.
