Picture in Loupe different from Develop

Victoria, Yes I do prefer using the smart previews, as a lot of my photos are kept on external drives. Thanks for all the help. I understand what is happening, and more importantly how to fix. Steve

I’m pretty sure I was outside develop module when cleared cache. Anyway, at least I understand what is happening. Thanks

Picture in Loupe different from Develop

Hi All Zooming in when in develop immediately changed the image to the correct one! Thanks Victoria. Zooming back out keeps the correct photo. Any ideas why this is happening? Thanks Steve

Picture in Loupe different from Develop

Johan Thanks for making suggestions. I tried reseting in the develop module but this made no difference. If you look at the cheeks of the lady - in Loupe the bright spot has been reduced (done in photoshop) but when it goes back to the develop module the bright spot (from the flash) is there...

Picture in Loupe different from Develop

Thanks for the idea. I have tried this and still no change in the problem. I attach the two views as screen shots. The Loupe view is the correct visualisation. The Develop view is an old visualisation from before the 2nd Photoshop edit. You will notice the difference if you look at the...

Picture in Loupe different from Develop

Hi When I work from Lightroom, export to Photoshop (PSD file), reimport, create smart preview, then re-export same file and work on it in Photoshop, finish this work I find that the Loupe view catches up with Photoshop but the develop view does not. Export LR/Mogrify Not working with macOS Catalina

Thanks Johan. I'll try it to see if this resolves the issue. Clearly I'd prefer the plug-in to meet apple's requirements.

Export LR/Mogrify Not working with macOS Catalina

Has anyone else experienced problems with this plug-in and does anyone know whether it will be fixed? The programme Magick was rejected by the OS software as not being appropriately certified. Is there any way around this? Many thanks

Library module Using a Second Screen

I've tried this and the second window just sits behind the main window and does not move to the second screen! Odd

Library module Using a Second Screen

I often use a second screen when using lightroom classic (Mac OS Mojave, latest version of lightroom). Using ^E opens the Loupe view on the second screen, but then for no reason the window on the second screen moves to the primary window on the main screen and stays there. I have to shut down...

Sync Changes made to Photos on iPad won't pull through to Lightroom Classic on MacBook.

I think I have solved the problem. On my iPad I went into settings, local storage and clicked on "Clear Cache". This seemed to have forced a resync! Oh well.

Sync Changes made to Photos on iPad won't pull through to Lightroom Classic on MacBook.

I have loaded photos into Lightroom Classic Collection synchronised with Lightroom Mobile. All photos have synchronised. I have then made changed on my iPad which I can also see on the website. These changes are not downloading to Classic despite Classic saying everything synchronised. Any...
