    Catalog will not backup

    My machine is an IMac running 10.12.1 and after updating to the newest version of Lightroom I started getting this error. My catalog is on my main drive and backups worked without a problem prior to updating. I checked the size of my catalog and it is under 4Gb.

    Just recently when I try to start Lightroom, it hangs up at the splash screen and never launches. It locks up my Mac, which I need to do a hard shutdown and then restart. This has been happening frequently. I found a article on Adobe's support suggesting two solutions neither of them worked...

    Lately I have been getting this error msg ?:0: compare number with nil. I gotten this message on exporting, deleting a photo from a collection and when I try to use the show focus point plug- in. Is anyone else getting this message or know how to correct it. I'm running LR 5.7 on iMac OSX...
