    Lens correction in develop module

I don't see anything that says setup reset lens profile defaults. I'm on 6.14 and in the menu bar settings tab it only gives me an option to reset all settings. My lens correction panel is always grayed out until I click either or both of the chromatic aberration and enable profile correction...

    Lens correction in develop module

I'm really confused. Lens corrections is only accessible when in Develop. When I click on the chromatic aberration and enable profile boxes it gives three options default, auto and custom. I have it set to default but then when I go to the next file I've got to repeat the process. What I want...

    Lens correction in develop module

Is there a way to set up LR so that remove chromatic aberration and enable profile corrections are always on? I'm finding that I always check these and its a pain to scroll down for every photo. Thanks

    NEW LIGHTROOM PROFILES FEATURE

Just got done reading Victoria's latest and she says the new profiles are supposed to be in the Develop module under the Basic tab. I'm on 6.14 and do not see this. Is there another update available - I thought 6.14 was the final for perpetual users. Thanks

    SPOT REMOVAL PROBLEMS

Great minds must think alike. That's exactly what I did and it seems to be OK. The actual size of the photo is only 4.8" x 3.5". Its from way back in the '70s. I'm wondering if the high dpi along with that small physical size just makes it tough for Lightroom to process. As soon as the cursor...

    SPOT REMOVAL PROBLEMS

Hi Clee - GP was disabled. Below is the system info. I think I may have found the problem though. It only seems to be happening with the photo I recently scanned. This was scanned at 1200 dpi. I just rescanned at 300 dpi and all seems to be OK. Does that make sense? Lightroom version: 6.9 [...

    SPOT REMOVAL PROBLEMS

Thanks for the info. I did the update to 6.9. I was already on Sierra 10.12.4. I'm not sure how to access GPU acceleration. I googled and it appears it is for Illustrator. I have stand alone Lightroom, not CC. Still having the mouse problem but it doesn't happen when I switch to Photoshop...

    SPOT REMOVAL PROBLEMS

This is not a Lightroom problem per se but an issue I am running into. I scanned a bunch of old photos and they have some defects, mainly areas where the emulsion is missing causing white spots top appear on the scan. When I place my mouse over the photos, it just plain starts acting crazy -...

    CLONING IN LIGHTROOM

Its probably the density difference so I'm thinking its going to be a trial and error type of thing.

    CLONING IN LIGHTROOM

Jim, I've done that but it doesn't take care of the problem. What I started doing was after cloning, going to spot heal but that is real time consuming. I've been cloning into out of focus backgrounds to delete people and objects and the hard edge is really noticeable.

    REBUILD CATALOG AND FOLDERS

Hi Johan. That screen shot was from another attempt to import files with no new folders created. To answer your question, I created the folder in Lightroom. Not exactly sure what you mean by creating the new folder structure in Finder. I have photos in two places on my hard drive, in the...
